At the heart of community of fishermen. In the misty morning, the community of New Takoradi slowly wakes up . Soon, children leave for school, adults get ready for work. In the late afternoon, the streets fill up again with energy and activity. However, in this community, almost every man has tried to leave for Europe at least once through the Sahara desert or with one of the cargo ships in the harbor. In what was mainly a fishing community, the young people of New Takoradi now face great economical challenges because of the lack of employment and opportunities.
